As for my team I'm using Jolteon, Buzzwole, and Mega Sharpedo. Most bs moment was Frosslass that had a quick claw and had it activate when it used destiny bond... ended my run at 44!

How's my team? I'm running a shell smash Minior lead with LO Nihilego and a scarfed Xurkitree. Should I replace anything? Was thinking about SWOLE or healthy meta cockroach.

I got to 49 off two wonder trade mons with 5/6 perfect IVs (Mimikyu, and Golisopod), and a personally bred metagross. Got fucked on Red's Charizard Y.

That fucking Walrein is basically a check against your team for if you have a setup-mon, basically if you don't have a swords dancer or such then you just get fucked. It's annoying. You should see the Vespiquen with defender order/ heal order/ toxic/ protect and a quick claw, now THAT shit is annoying as fuck. Especially if you haven't pp'd up the skills to their max. It will drain all your skills until you're left struggling.

There's a cave in Vast Poni Canyon under some tree brances that you can surf through to a bubbling fishing spot at the very end. Save before you fish into it. I got like 3 bottlecaps from it trying to fish for a 10% Dratini. Might've been just lucky tho.

I got two 20 streaks on singles using Primarina, Garchomp and Bewear. This is my first time playing these Battle facilities, I never cared about the competitive side. Should I change any of them if I want to try Super Singles? What other mons should I breed if I want a team of six for the upcoming tournament? I haven't caught any legendaries or UBs yet either, besides Timid Lunala, which I plan on using as my Special mon, so I can soft reset for a good one

Good thing this isn't battle spot and you can make Greninja work flawlessly. Getting a kill is easy as fuck with Waterium-Z boosted Hydro Pump, after that, you have a base 60 priority move in Water Shuriken. You can switch out in case you get countered by the next few mons and still keep the boost because it's essentially another Mega on your team.

Start with Alakazam and Scyther. Alakazam is the big distraction that needs to be removed or it's an easy game. He Megas and hits whatever is super effective with the vast movepool, otherwise whacks something with Psyshock to KO or half health a Pokemon. Scyther Swords Dances. Eviolite usually ensures he lives this round.

If Alakazam lives, hit again. If not, Send out Mudsdale. His earthquake does not affect Scyther. If things look good, Scyther will either Aerial Ace or Quick Attack a 'Mon to KO. Swords Dance always ensure's a KO. If it doesn't look good for Scyther, send in Araquanid with Baton Pass.

Araquanid usually tanks 2 to 3 hits before he can move. Use Stockpile-Z as his first move. Araquanid fully heals and has his defences boosted.

Araquanid + Water Bubble + Swords Dance from the Scyther makes his Liquadation OHKO anything. If it's not effective, the insane damage boost it's been given neutralizes the resistance anyway.

I'd put Wide Guard instead of Mirror Coat on that Araquanid, if it's ever out at the same time as Megazam or Scyther I'm sure blocking the spread damage would be huge. Also I'd put Protect on Megazam since he's pretty frail.

It's pretty much the exact same build I used in Maison, minus the Mega Kanga and replaced with Mega Scizor.

Gengar is crazy powerful in battle facilities, since it's at worst a 1 for 1 trade, and at best it can win you the entire battle without your other Pokes even doing anything. Most of the time it does a 1 for 2 trade and your Chomp or Scizor can pretty much just swoop in and finish the third one with ease.

fairium Z is preferred to Wide Lens for extra burst if your Z slot isn't being used, since the additional damage from Life Orb isn't always necessary/preferred. Play Rough is the physical fairy move, and makes your twinkle tackle insane. shadow sneak is priority, and last move is either more stab power, or coverage/minor heals in leech life

teammates are whatever since this mother will sweep most things. Just have power against ghost/poison/steel, since they are what takes out mimikyu most of the time

I just had to deal with a quick claw vespiquen with toxic/heal order/defend order/protect which had quick claw trigger every time it needed to get a defense boost/heal in when I only had M-metagross with low hp left. I ended up winning but it took ages as it pp stalled my high bp stab moves and I had to spam bullet punches to win (last move was hammer arm which would do barely anything to it).

battle tree and royal has made me realize that pokemon should do what gold and silver did, but this time instead of just all 8 gyms, sun and moon should give you a chance to do a near reset. Because you can't use the pokemon you already trained, you gotta start nearly over with a new battle tree set, which the game gives as an option as sets are concerned.
So using your orginals you should get yourself a new battle tree set, the game should give an option kind of like a new game +, just turn on the old trainers you already beat and make them harder.

I got in pretty late but I've only just unlocked the battle tree. I'm a trick room player, is it worth taking trick room mons to the super singles? I have all of those lined up already as far as breeding but I didn't plan for non-TR yet.
I was just gonna take a golisopod, porygon2, and alolan marowak

So... in ORAS, I had a sort-of... premade team that I basically copied to use in the maison just to grind out BP so I can get items only purchased with BP.
Trouble is, this team was made for triple battles--so even if I could just transfer them over, the option is lost.
I'm not looking to become the king of super battle tree or anything, I just want some recommendations on a team that can get me the 50 wins needed for the ability capsule, and maybe buy some other items until I can just ship in massive amounts of BP once bank is compatible.

It's a well known fact that the AI messes with RNG hax in battle tree

Mega Lucario spamming Close Combat and Choice Specs Tapu Lele spamming Psychic wone me probably 45 out of 50 battles on the way to getting to the 50 win, which I only wanted to get for the dumb battle pose you earn. The last two slots were Mimikyu to SD/Shadow Sneak anything that made it through my first wave, who was needed rarely, and a defensive Calm Mind Tapu Fini who only ever made it into battle from the random Red Card's on opposing trainer. The only non-obvious set up choice I had on any of these pokemon was that Mimikyu had Wood Hammer which did come into use a few times.

Not exactly a bullshit moment, but on battle 49 of super doubles, the enemy trainer led with Tyranitar and Excadrill. It switched Excadrill out for Gengar, which took a hit and survived solely on it's Focus Sash. The poor Gengar died at the end of the turn from it's partner's sandstorm.

If you don't want to give your Mimikyu the Life Orb you can give it Z-Splash instead of Swords Dance temporarily. It can also learn Wood Hammer and Leech Life so keep those in mind. But Fairy/Bug works against Dark Types. Shadow Sneak works on ghosts,and of course Fairy will hit the dragons.

All of you need to use bulkier pokemon. That's seriously important. Start thinking of all the things you hate about VGC. Weird EV spreads. Intimidate. Heavy-Hitting move coverage. Take a Mega, there's no reason not to. Mega Lucario for example, if they resist his Close Combat, it's still an effective 120 base power move. (Adaptability makes it 240 normally). Extreme Speed from Lucario is an insane asset. Same goes for Shadow Sneak from Mimikyu, Bullet Punch from Scizor, and Aqua Jet or First Impression from Golisopod (252HP/252ATK Assault Vest golisopod is fairly good bulk.)

It seems more like Tree trainers run teams with more synergy this time around, and the worst thing they'll do is try to RNG you. It often fails miserably, but the one time it does work it is understandably frustrating and sticks out in your memory.

If you breed and toss out some rejects into WT you'll eventually strike gold. Only problem is setting up for breeding does take awhile. You need the dittos and the abras, and then the 4 IVs dittos and all that jazz. But once you have all that shit set up it doesn't take much other than to breed something brain simple like a beldum or minior (since it lacks no gender to have to worry about).

Yep. with Snow Warning for the Hail, obviously. It's only worth it if you can set it up in one turn. Aurora Veil, Freeze-Dry, Confuse Ray, HP Fire. Holding Light Clay to double the time the screens stay up, since they stay up even after the Hail goes away.

Switching to Toxapex with those screens up is a great feeling. Nothing even scratches it.

I was grinding BP in Singles with Primarina, Garchomp and Bewear, then I decided to try Super Singles instead with the same team, and I got destroyed by Guzma.
I skipped gen 6, so I have absolutely no experience with megas, so when I saw he using Mega Pinsir, I just ignored it and used Moonblast.

Doing super doubles right now. My leads are brochomp and minior which is working really well. I have mimikyu in the back who is always solid. I am experimenting with a 4th but I just can't lock it down. Right now I'm trying magnezone and I had some success with araquanid. Any suggestions for a 4th with a little bit more bulk and good coverage?

None that I know of, I've just seen his usage on a showdown match and saw the potential it had. I believe you want it to be slower than its teammate, so it can instruct after the teammate uses his first ability, or faster but use protect first turn so the teammate can use his ability and then have Oranguru follow it up next turn with instruct. Anything that hits every pokemon on the field is really good with it.

For singles what I've found is you just want to KO ASAP. Kartana up front with life orb will get you easy normal singles clear. I used kartana, garchomp, mimikyu in singles and unless I make a bad decision it's and easy win. Working on doubles right now and could definitely use someone like gliscor. Super singles is a lot harder though so he might find a place there.

The chomp I completed it with had a shitty nature and no HA but full speed and attack EV with brick break, crunch, earthquack, and dragon claw. Kartana had a +att nature with full speed and att EV, just teach him sacred sword, can do night slash instead of x scissor if you want. Mimikyu adamant with leech life, shadow sneak, play rough and swords dance with speed and att EV ghostium z. You will run into some bad RNG but most importantly you have to know what your kartana can outspeed. If you can't outspeed a firemon you MUST switchout.

Holy shit I finally beat 50 in super singles and got my gay ass stamp. Now I can finally move on in my life
