Also I like how despite this being uploaded on the official Japanese channel it still has the English text. Including 'Unova'

Generations was released in English first.

Therefore, the English version is the original and the Japanese version is the dub.

English voice direction was pretty horrendous. This sounds way better already.

It was clearly scripted in Japanese. The English dub was just released first. You can tell by how awkward it is, like that obvious "ITADAKIMASU!" scene with Cheryl.
