Leech Life is the big one because the other two have to cheat by using the new mechanic and are otherwise the same. For no particular reason other than throwing Bug-types a bone, Gamefreak massively buffed Leech Life itself.

It was funny seeing Zubat use absorb in the early game before I knew what happened. It felt wrong to me, until I learned about the buff.
