I've always gotten very close to completion since Gen IV but I never actively pursue a full dex

I thought you need 302 too complete it since Marshadiw is the last one in the dex.

all the way up to Gen 6, working on 7 now. All mon's legitimate no hacks or injects (thanks year of the mythic)

lol, I never understood the whole "catch 'em all" thing. Never catched pokemon I didn't plan to use. It wasn't until gen6 that I got random pokemon thru gts/wonder trade but never for dex completion.

Its amazing what trading random shit gets you on the GTS. I traded a metagross for a porygonZ and chain-traded through all the shitty "trade with item" evolutions.
