Doubt it. I think he's just pointing out the new designs from an artist that started up last gen.
I like his ideas but there's usually one or two features on each of his fully-evolved Pokemon that prevents them from being perfect. His designs are certainly above average.
Something about the shape and structure of Vikavolt's open beetle shell irks me. Drampa's sudden sliding movements with no apparent feet or legs or other source of locomotion, and Muk's weird, physical layering that causes it to look like a balding man with long blonde hair from behind also come to mind.

Shit, dude. Him designing Vikavolt isn't surprising, but Minior, too? I love this guy.

I think it was obvious to everyone from its reveal that he designed Vikavolt, and Minior makes sense, but Drampa is throwing me for a loop.
