I hated the color scheme they gave Throh in the anime. The red is too dark and saturated while the black of the suit is too soft. It's hard to look at.

Sawk and Throh are the lowest point of pokemon design in the history of the franchise.

What the fuck are they based on? Generic grapplers, but actually they're pokemon? They look like DBZ character fodder you'd see in some filler arch about a tournament. They're absolute trash.

When people complain about kelfki and vaniluxe I point them to throh and sawk.

I love Sawk/Throh. I used Sawk in Black and Throh in White2.

Sawk had a Scope Lens with Focus Energy/Double Kick/Dual Chop/Bulk Up. Throh had a Toxic Orb with Storm Throw/Bulldoze/Thunder Punch/Bulk Up.

Great pokemon overall.

Throh is deffensive judo and Sawk is aggressive karate. Like many fighting types they are humanoid, with elements of the blue and red onis with the colors inversed

why did they give Throh mat block instead of Sawk when he's too slow to use it properly

I practice judo and I think Throh is a great representation of this martial art, specifically of the act of throwing, with a body made especially for it. I bet whoever designed him practiced it.

Is there any karate anon around here? What do you think of Sawk?
