S&M dungeon has a real shit OST in my opinion and this became clear to me when my favorite song in the OST was Guzma's fight theme, which is rather repetitive and not even a genre of music I normally like.
Gen 5 was the last good OST. 6 had a few okayish tracks and the boxart legendary theme was great but other than that it was garbage. ORAS blew anus, but I also never even liked original Gen 3 OST.

Tie between mommy's first battle theme and the Lillie Rescue Mission theme. Seriously, that shit sounds like something out of Ace Combat or Sin & Punishment.

My favorites would have to be Guzma and Lusamine's battle themes. Though in terms of atmosphere, I'd have to go with Po Town. After seeing the state it was in and hearing the depressing music, it gave me chills.

Poni Wilds, absolutely. Probably the best route theme of the entire franchise, it was so beautiful.

Guzma's encounter and battle themes, along with Lusamine's first battle theme are also amazing.

Other stand outs are the Totem battle, Mt Lanakila, and Seafolk Village at night.

I found the Champion theme comparatively underwhelming. I get it, but it got kind of annoying after a while. I was also really disappointed with Vast Poni Canyon, it felt too upbeat and techno considering the area and the stakes of the story.

It was a really good soundtrack, but in a way that was atmospheric rather than memorable in some instances.

Lusamine's First Battle music was really good in my opinion. Actually, pretty much all Aether-related music is fantastic. The Aether grunt theme starts up almost like a Final Fantasy battle song which caught me off guard.
