What was Game Freak thinking with this? I mean, what the fuck even is it? What were they going for? This is the ugliest fucking character I've ever seen.
Hapu looks like some Tumblrite's retarded Professor Layton fancharacter. She looks out of place in the game, and is just obnoxiously ugly. I absolutely fucking hate this character. What a piece of shit. I never want to see Hapu again!

Was it just me, or did her dialogue seem weird?
I'm not quite sure how to phrase it, except that a lot of her lines seemed awkward. Like, maybe she didn't use contractions or something. It bothered me.

her dialog was purposely awkward, when you talk to her later she mentions how the only person she had to talk to growing up was her grandpa so she picked up his odd speech patterns, and kids from the other islands speak differently
