I'd say to make trades based on a rarity value or something, but then I'd get ripped of when I trade out my smeargles that have payday and happy hour. That shit was hard to make man.

How about this, you cannot wonder trade any Pokemon under level 50 unless:

The Pokemon came from the island scan.
The Pokemon has a hidden ability.
The Pokemon has at least one egg move
The Pokemon has at least one 31 IV.

Remove direct trading and replace it with a storage database. Every WT Pokemon goes into a single communal pool, and then whenever someone sends a new Pokemon in they get a weighted random selection from that pool. It's weighted to prevent Abras from having a 50% chance to get pulled on account of being the majority of what's in the database.

You can still give people the "illusion" of direct trades if you want.

All it needs is a better way to do shit in the background. In addition to sending mons in one at a time for an instant trade, there should be a Wonder Box. Fill it up with 1-30 mons and 1-2 hours later all the mons in it will be traded away server side like a GTS system.

Speaking of GTS, we need to upgrade it to a battle box style system where you can have up to 6 offers up at once, and purge offers that have been up longer than 48 hours without any takers. Plus would be nice for the system to play matchmaker for you so that if you put up say a Litten looking for a Rowlet, the first thing the server will do is check if there is an active offer that fits the trade and will make it for you instantly.

Everything else was Wingul, abra, and Yungoos

Here, I figured it out.

If you WT a Pokemon you caught on a route, then you'll get a Pokemon that was also caught on a route. If you WT a Pokemon that you bred, you'll get a Pokemon that was also bred.

A shitmon for a shitmon, a Breedject for a Breedject. Everyone wins.

Pokemon loves that.

Just look at all the NPCs you have to interact with constantly that have the same superfluous dialogue chain of 5 or 6 prompts, every time you talk to them.

I think my favorite is the Battle Royal, where you can show up with your team already ready, but you have to confirm you want to participate, select the premade, select individually every pokemon in the premade, confirm them all, confirm your confirmation and listen to the bitch rattle on about it a couple more times, get stopped at the door and told you're participating, THEN the shit starts. When all you really need to do is have the game check your current party to see if it's viable and send you in. One step turned into more than a dozen steps. And the best part is, if you accidentally hit the cancel button during any part of it, it kicks you out completely and you start over.

Made BP suicide farming real fun.

I've been dumping 4-5 IV Beast Ball Mimikyu into WT all day, I've got 20 boxes of them to get through.

So far I've gotten what appears to be an injected 6IV Solgaleo with a Gold Bottle Cap, a Magnezone with Pokerus, a Pheromosa (pretty sweet considering I'm on Sun) and a bunch of stuff for the pokedex.
