What would be the worst type combination possible? I mean the one with most disadvantages.
>pic unrelated
Bug/Grass exists already
>>30603899
Rock/Ice
Ice/Bug
>>30603899
It already exists, Rock/Ice:
- Weak to 6 types (Grass, Water, Ground, Fighting, Steel and Rock)
- Weak to every existant entry hazard
- Rock and Ice together can only hit super effective to Fire, Flying, Bug, Ice, Grass, Ground, and Dragon
- Amaura's and Aurorus' (the only Rock/Ice so far) best Rock-type move is Ancient Power, it even don't get Power Gem
Pure normal is honestly awful. All good Pokémon of that type are good despite being their typing rather than because of it, either through great stats, movepool or ability.
Dispute my claim. Expert advice:You are unable.

Ice/Grass is a strong contender. So is Ice/Rock. Funny enough, Rock/Grass is actually pretty great.
>>30604183
And three of those weaknesses are 4x weaknesses
Rock ground
rock ice
>>30604183
Rock/Ice is really good coverage though. It's only resisted by steel.
>ice is probably the best offensive typing in the game
>rock handles how ice can't hit fire and ice types while being neutral on water
If GF stopped the shitty slow bulky ice type meme, an infernape style ice/rock sweeper would be amazing in a especially if it gets earthquake and access to ice shard and accelrock to handle priority.
It's not on the level of something like bug/grass or psychic/grass
>>30604335
Agree, a glass cannon rock/ice with ground/fire coverage would be good. Think weavile
>>30604185
monotype ice is flat out worse than monotype normal
it only resists itself and is weak to 3 common offensive types
at least normal only has 1 weakness and an immunity
>>30604270
Fighting, Steel, and... what's the other x4 weakness?
>>30604185
Mononormal isn't bad, honestly. It only has one weakness, and an immunity which is a fucking amazing exchange.
Offensivly, normal is a fantastic Stab, as Return is better than Earthquake, and only 3 types resist or negate it. 2 of those types get covered by, you guessed it, Earthquake.
The worst is probably Ice/Rock. It only resists Ice, Poison, and Normal while it has 6 weaknesses. 2 of those are 4x weaknesses, and a weakness to Ground, Fighting, or Water is kind of a big deal.
>>30603899
Rock/Ice, Fire/Flying, Grass/Bug, anything with ice and grass.
>>30605313
Why fire/flying?
>>30605375
sneaky pebbles making you lose 50% every switch in
>>30604075
>When Paras is your fave but you're right
>>30605419
Meh, theres no fire/flying good pokemon so its not a matter.
>>30605419
Fire/Bug is also weak to spikes
>>30605478
Ice/Bug isn't immune to burns.
Ice/Ice
>>30606101
>4x weakness to Fire, Steel, Fighting, and Rock
>Only a 4x resistance to Ice
>Ice moves deal double damage, off of its pure wall stats.
Winner winner, chicken dinner.
>>30605680
>ice bug
>4x weak to fire
>4x weak to pebbles
>only resists ground, grass and ice
dear god its horrible
>>30605420
Enjoying that dry skin?
>>30604537
>Agree, a glass cannon rock/ice with ground/fire coverage would be good.
>glass cannon
>LITERAL glass cannon
gen 8 Pokemon right here boys
>>30604183
Water would be neutral
>>30607057
Ice doesn't resist water. Ice only resists Ice
>>30607036
>Ability moves all of its moves to the top of it's priority bracket (So Quick Attack would still go before it, but any non-priority wouldn't.) at the cost of built-in Life Orb recoil.
