Where's a good place to farm for Pick Up items?

So i just learned that you can high five Riolu in pokemon refresh, that's neat i wonder what other pokemon can do this

i don't have a lot of time to play pokemon , so i want to know if what im doing is the right thing

my Riolu has 5iv, the last one has to be fixed with hyper training

so in order to train this guy first im going to send it to the training island in pelago so he can max his ev in speed and attack

then i'll just need to get him to level 100 with more pokepelago or with regular battles

and finally when he is level 100 i can use my bootle caps to fix his iv

is this how it works?

i know i could ev training in the good old way and it would probably be faster, but i got a lot of stuff to do, and even on weekends im not really free so the poke pelago island sound like a good way to train him

I just used the pokepelago fitness resort. It's not fast but it's automatic and if you plan a few days ahead it saves you more real-time than EV training.

doing that, it takes killing 7 pokemon in one sos battle to max out the EVs for a stat.

You can max an ev stat in like 10 minutes with sos battles and rus, pelago takes too long unless you're mass training.

Get pokerus, power item and go into sos, even easier if your pokemon can false swipe or get the pokemon low enough to make the chain easier.
7 kos and it's maxed, just make sure you're fighting pokemon that yield the appropriate EVs, can easily check the best spots online.
