You put it in a battle team. Just a way of quickly selecting a team other than your party for Battle Tree or link battles.

Did you recently make a battle team for online? It's the team symbol. You can remove it by going to the third button from the left (looks like two pokeballs) in the PC and removing your pokemon from its team.

It's in a battle team. You can remove it by opening that removing it from the team dropdown, or just putting it in your current pokemon out, and then putting it back in the box.
