When I was in elementary school, I drew one up that was literally a wave with eyes. My friends loved it so I made more alternate versions like some psuedo arceus.
I feel like I went overboard once I drew a wave as a ninja...

When I was ten I tried making fake pokemon for starters. My grass starter was a seed with eyes that evolved into a sprout that evolved into a tree. My fire started was a flame with eyes that evolved into a bigger flame that evolved into an even bigger flame. And my water started was a droplet with eyes that evolved into a bigger drop that evolved into a cloud. I wasn't the most creative of kids.

I think around the time RSE was new, I tried making my own fakemon dex. I wanna say I drew these in 2003 or so, so I was 10 at the time. The Mythical Mew-like thing of my dex was a complete rip-off of the baby thing in pic related. My grass starter was a seed/cat hybrid that I think turned into a rabbit, and then a moth of all fucking things, and my fire starter actually followed the zodiac trope long before I knew about it. (it was a snake) My water starter was just this ugly bird thing with a FLUDD nozzle instead of a beak.

Because most of the fans want that. I really don't get it but some people want the pokemon to turn into a more badass evolution of itself without any change in its design or lore. They just wanna stroke their dicks on how cool the pokemon looks. Also designing 'it just gets bigger' mons is just easier since you don't need to look for the inspirations and motives, which are often non existant in fakemons (lol let's make a shrimp and give it katana it looks so badass xdddd)
