Help him
Here's how to fix him:
>pick up crab
>throw him in a boiling pot of water
>add salt, lemon and optionally Cajun spices
>boil until the screams stop
>enjoy

>"This Pokemon has six weaknesses. What should we do to help it?"
>"I know, lets give it below average bulk AND 43 Speed!"
>"That's a great idea! What could possibly go wrong?"
give it contrary

Should i add rice or something?

Make a Trick Room team anddon't invite him because he'll waste a slot.
Is this like the worst Pokémon of this gen? It literally can't do anything. It has no niche and it was one of the only Pokémon I actually struggled with in ingame battles.
>>30576488
It's almost a 400 lbs. crab. If you need sides, then go for it, champ.
>>30575968
It's simple. We delete the Crabominable. We go back in time, steal money, travel back more with the money, and take a flight to Japan. We invent Pokémon. We wait 20 years and create Crabrawler. We make Crabominable a fast bulky physical attacker when a skinnier appearance and hard exoskeleton. It's simple.
Put it out of it's misery, nobody wanted or expected Crawbrawler to turn into an Ice type.
If that isn't an option, just give it an Ice type version of Mach Punch as a signature move, I don't know if it'll make any difference but its all I can think of besides scrapping it's movepool and base stats entirely.

Fixed my formatting to something less cancerous.

Ice Shard wouldn't help it much. priority only helps fast pokemon that have a chance of being outsped, or bulky pokemon that can actually survive a hit. Crabominable can't survive a goddamn thing
>Crabby Shield: All attacks dealt to this Pokemon is capped at 25% of the user's max HP. Loses ability to self-heal.
Is it good now?
>>30576634
>thought i was being creative
>mfw I completely forgot ice shard was already a thing
>>30575968
It's a crabrawler that had to survive and adapt to the cold, so more defensive stats and abilities
Giving it Ice shard and Mach Punch would be nice too
Side question:
>It's a crab
>"Ooo new water fighting type?!"
>Bring it to the end game mountain to get another ice type
ytho
>Ice/Fighting is a fantastic offensive typing
>Perfect candidate for a glasscannon
>Shit speed
Well, at least there's still Weavile.
>Hp 120
>Attack 130
>Defense 100
>Sp Attack 20
>Sp Defense 90
>Speed 10
Ability: Fur Coat/Fluffy
>Ice Hammer doubles in power if the user moves last.
>>30576717
Haven't you ever heard of yeti crabs?
Also Crabrawler isn't water type because it's based on a coconut crab, which almost always stays on land and climbs trees
>>30576845
I go to /vp/
Why do you think I know about the outside world
>>30575968
Give Crabrawler a different evolution option based on the Japanese Spider Crab. Evolves via Level up in Lush Jungle. Bug/Fighting.
I never even made it that far with him
>Send out Crawbrawler
>Gets outsped
>If you're lucky he's at 1/3rd health after one hit
>Only 1 hit KOs weak pokemon super effective against
>Can't survive 2 hits from anything.
Why would they make such a shit pokemon on purpose? I get why some early gen pokemon are shit, but in gen 7 they know how the game works and how to balance Pokemon.
Just why?
Actual graphic definition of Crabominable's stats/typid/moveset
Change its HA to Fur Coat
Give it access to Hammer Arm, Ice Shard, Mach Punch, and Bullet Punch.
>>30577034
You just made it a worse Golisopod, it would still struggle agaisn't anything thats super effective to it imo
>>30575968
Right down to its hair, it's literally JUST: The Pokemon.
>>30577069
252+ Atk Incineroar Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Fur Coat Crabominable: 198-234 (44.5 - 52.7%) -- 21.1% chance to 2HKO
Crabominable just strikes me as a branched evolution like Politoed or Bellossom. It has its own appeal but it just doesn't feel like a natural progression of Crabrawler, it isn't what I wanted. So sad to see this as the only genuinely new Ice type Pokémon this gen.

Trick Room Doubles
Anger Point Crabominable + Bruxish opener
Turn 1: Bruxish uses 0iv adamant ice breath on Crab, Crab ohkos whatever it attacks now
Turn 2: Bruxish uses trick room, Crab can now earthquake or rock slide through all the opponents pokemon
Provided neither of your pokemon faint before trick room goes off, this has been working wonders for me
>>30575968
damn retards and their gorilla strength
>>30575968
>Ice Field
>Every Pokemon (except Ice and Flying types) have their speed lowered by two tiers
>>30576690
I read this as "crappy shield" at first
>>30575968
SLOW
DEFENSIVE
ICE
TYPE
>>30576539
It's the worst on many different levels, terrible design, terrible pre-evo, doesn't evolve until E4, garbage typing for its garbage stats, ect.
>>30576827
I did some testing. This is a major improvement. It can survive a Fire Punch from a 252/31 Adamant P-Groudon in Harsh Sunlight.
>>30576481
Pretty much this, just move Contrary from Lurantis to Crabominable and that should make it alright.
>>30575968
it's an ice type anon it's beyond saving
>>30575968
>Doesn't even get a Priority Punch
That's all it would take to make me happy.
remove it and make crabrawler a single stage mon by giving it better stats
Would slush rush do anything for it?
What about Shell Smash? crabs have shells.
>>30577981
either one of those would at least give at a niche
at the moment its just SHIT
make it look like not-ass and give it priority and it's at least usable in nu
