I like running him as a physical attacker with this set.

I run that same set, except sub out Rock Slide for Stone Edge.
Anyways, I enjoyed using Ribombee and Alolan Muk a lot during my main game play through. Post Game brought me the Muscquito of my dreams and Type: Null and Silvally who are a lot more fun to use than I anticipated.

I run the same set as you i was breeding for a shiny minior and luckly after 326 eggs i got it this pokemon is worth it no matter what anyone says and shiny is fucking awesome

Minor is very High Risk-High Reward. The defense in Defense Form is still pretty squishy for Rock/Flying, but if you can get into Core Form safely, you have an instant win button.
Minior is notable because the Battle Tree AI doesn't understand Shields Down. They seem to think it's always in Core Form, as every enemy I fought constantly spammed T-Wave and WoW. I'm pretty sure you're immune to ability suppressants, which I found to be fairly common in the tree.
