How it would actually go with any half decent opponent who actually has a brain is that the Slaking would get hit with Fake Out immediately, Pyukumuku would get Taunted immediately, and your whole incredibly obvious gimmick strategy goes to shit fast

Here, only 80 stat rise but it basically guaranteed Mega Slaking to be kicked upward to Uber Tier, still, it basically made a gimmick pokemon into equal rival of Arceus... Or just made Arceus his bitch...

Hmm, maybe giving Slaking Vigoroth's ability as his Mega ability, while merely giving modest 30 raise on Special Defense (and nothing else), would do the trick.

Basically Physical counterpart of most Uber Legendaries in manageable 700 stat. Still a Normal type and now cannot reliably slack off or use leftovers. Just a really bulky physical attacker.

Not as broken as the other Mega Slaking suggestions, wall carrying Will O Wisp will make short work of him.
