You can't just take smogon mons into the Tree. You need specific counters to some of the bullshit. Smogon is good against other smogon, but the battle tree has completely different threats

I thought this after getting Paralyzed 6 times, but then really thought about it and Quick Claw and Brightpowder have saved my life just as often in there.

Something that helps a lot is to switch your team around every few matches since the AI starts throwing stuff at you that very specifically counters your current team.

Anyone else using Z-Hypnosis & Tail Glow Xurkitree? Its been working well for me.

I had a run where I fought four Whimsicott's in 10 battles because fairy/grass was the only typing that has STAB or neutral against all the pokemon I was using.
