I was thinking Luxury or Heavy, but it just occurred to me that it might be impossible to get fossil pokemon in anything other than a pokeball. If they're always given to you in pokeballs and the only way to pass down a ball between two different species is through the FEMALE (ie, it would have to be the same species as the desired species), then I'm not sure how it would work?

I was wonder trading off my extras from breeding my main 6,
and I got both a Beldum in a Beast Ball and a Wimpod in a Beast Ball.

I only use Luxury Balls since Gen V, when the Dream World was a cool thing and I found out I could catch a lot of pokemon that were doomed to have the normal pokeball before. Out of all the balls available at the time, it was the one I liked the most.

Enter Gen VI and I had a boner, I caught females there and on every previous games. I redid all my 'second games' to even catch legendaries on Luxury Balls, and every single pokemon that could be caught on a luxury ball were (and still are) there, stuck on the pokebank as I wait for them to balltism my new mons.

And of course, I'm catching everything in Luxury Balls right now. I even caught the in-story Lunala on a Luxury Ball (and I got lucky af), and I'm way behind the curve because catching legendaries on a luxury ball while SR to get them nice stats takes... a lot. I know theres Hyper Training now and that I don't need to get perfect IVs, but just in case that's only a Gen VII thing I'm doing the same I did every other generations. And unless I get a shiny (ORAS Uxie is the only one I got) I won't stop. Sometimes I get lucky and grab a legend with nice IVs on the first hour, most of the times it takes a day, and if I'm unlucky it's because I spent 2 days on each legendary.

No way in hell I'd like a Ball Transfer Machine to be included. All those experiences I lived would be demeaned.

I got mosquitos with pokeball, kartanas with premier/ fast. The jellyfish one with Dive ball. Luxury with xurkitree.

I've done each of these several times, but the Ultra ball seems ineffective on Xurkitree and Guzzlord

If I breed my Female Pokeball Incineroar with, say, a Luxury Ball Male Pangoro to get Body Slam Litten, can the Litten be in a Luxury Ball? Or is it just females that can pass down their ball? I saw people say you can pass down the ball from the male now.

I put A-Raichu in Moon. Idk. it just kind of fits with the half moon animations as it bursts out. Makes it a little unique as well, I suppose.

I don't like the look of Ultra/Great balls either so i played through the entire game only catching Pokemon with regular Pokeballs, cause i didn't want to waste Luxury Balls on mons that won't be competitive either.

Going through and playing other gens to satisfy my Balltism so I can eventually transfer up.

Best balls for Sentret/Furret and Hoothoot/Noctowl? Part of me is thinking Repeat (circle motif) or Level (tan color in sprite) for Sentret, and either Timer (clock motif) or Dusk (nocturnal, red button kinda matches Hoothoot's eyes) for Hoothoot. I'm not a huge fan of Dusk Balls, but it might be fitting on Hoothoot.
