I'm not sure if they can ban you, but I doubt they will.
As for changing hairstyle, probably not. But Backpack maybe. What people have been doing is loading up a new save file and comparing the Hex-data between the new character and their old one. So, for instance, the newly loaded character has no Z-ring, so they just replaced one snippet of code.
I cannot recall if you have a backpack or not when starting your game or not. If you did not, then it's entirely possible.

Someone last thread suggested to get different bottoms because a casual skirt clashes with the modest top so I decided to try this out. I want to add more yellow to the outfit, I tried dying a headband yellow but it wouldn't give me an option. Maybe my dye store isn't a high enough level or something. I do want to make my outfit more summer looking though while keeping the colour scheme so I'm looking around for different clothes right now.

You can order it from other people in your plaza if they have the dye shop in their first slot, although it costs a fair amount of points. Double if you already have a dye shop of any sort.
You also need like level 8 or something to do it, I can't remember.
