In terms of instant gratification then just Happy Hour + Amulet Coin for E4.

If you want to mindlessly farm money then the best thing to do is get a Level 100 Smeargle with Pay Day as its only move and SOS Chain Dittos (making sure to open up with Happy Hour and Amulet Coin, which do affect Pay Day).

You can also just do this whilst chaining regular pokemon to get some extra dosh on the side.

One of them absolutely loves using poison on everything, so I wanted a pokemon that would automatically heal itself and also keep my team.
Chansey also being a wall was just a bonus, his primary role in this team is healer, not staller.

Pheromosa with Life Orb or Focus Sash as your lead, run coverage and for most games you'll just sweep the other team.

Some tanky fucker that walls stuff - anything with Magic Guard, Steel types. You use this to deal with high damage fuckers or to outwall another wall.

Then your third is whatever covers the weaknesses of the other two.

People recommend Baton Pass/Sub or other buffing related strategies - that's fine for your two backups but I always lead with the best sweeper I can use because it just saves time and 2 teams out of 3 will wipe before accomplishing anything.

What are the rules for leech seed and toxic? I know leech seed can't hit grass, and toxic cant hit poison or steel, but I feel like there's rules beyond that in gen 7. There is no StreetPass function for this game, but it will tag other players to add to your festival plaza.

Every time you beat somebody in singles or doubles, you can pay 10 BP at the end of the fight to Scout them (it's in the menu asking if you want to take a break or continue). If you don't have 10 BP, the option won't show.

Basically, since you're going to meet a legacy trainer every 10 battles, just rack up the BP on a 10-battle streak and use that to buy whoever is on the other end of the streak. If it's somebody you don't want or already have, save the BP. Don't spend BP on random NPC trainers, as the AI will turn them retarded for being on your side.

Have two questions.

It takes Pokemon 24 hours to return from a treasure hunt from Isle Aphun. With Poke beans, you can cut the time in half. Does that mean I only have to put in 12 hours' worth of Poke beans to make my Pokemon come back in 12 hours? I have a feeling I'm right but I wanna be certain before I waste my beans.

My other question isn't a Sun/Moon question directly but it does have my concerned.

Anybody else's 3DS not booting up properly sometimes? Mine's power and WiFi light come on but the screens stay black until I turn it off. It doesn't happen every time but it's often enough for me to be concerned about it. Anyone else having problems like this? Solutions? It happened like 2 or 3 times though it's entirety, until I started playing Pokemon Sun. Now it happens way more frequently.

Maybe it's just my console, since Sun and Moon were probably engineered to be played on the New 3DS XL and I only have the standard 3DS XL.

That's something very different. Refresh is only useful for getting Sylveon. Happiness can't actually be seen in game, only mentioned by a happiness checker NPC (in general terms, not a number) or by having the Pokemon in question evolve on level up, making it obvious it has enough.

Affection in Refresh has nothing to do with the happiness (as far as I know).
While there are NPCs in the game that give you a general idea (200-250) I always just tested it.

Serebii says it's literally just cosmetic for your game only. They can't be passed down from a trained parent.

No. Bottle cap effects do not pass down to eggs. They don't actually raise the IV, they just give you the stats as if it were maxed.

For example, get a Pokemon with a shit HP IV and look at it in the menu, then use the bottle cap and look at the IV in the menu again. The stat itself will change, but the saying "Poor, Very Good, etc" will not.

Get 10 QR codes scanned in. The QR codes can be of shit you already have in your dex, but none of them can be duplicates. Differentiation is made between different forms (including Megas) and Shiny pokemon (meaning Gyrados has 4 QR codes: Gyrados, Shiny Gyrados, Mega Gyrados, and Shiny Mega Gyrados).

Once you've done that, go to the island you want to scan and trigger Island Scan. A pre-defined mon will spawn in the location given. The mon that spawns is determined by the day of the week and the island scanned. Tuesday on Poni will always spawn Togekiss, for instance.

Island Scan mons can't be SOS'd and don't ever have their HA. They also don't contribute to your dex. Only go for a mon if you really want it for personal or competitive reasons.
