My year figure is meant to be a very rough estimate for the release of the DP remakes, which will likely contain the rest of the mega stones.

If your definition of legal includes things that can only be obtained in this specific game, then you cannot use the half of megas that do not have their stones obtainable in SM.

No shit. A follow up game is a certainty especially now that they neglected to make half of the megas available. Unless they do it by QR or something.

Anyway what you have to understand is that remakes are created due to a high demand bar FRLG for obvious reasons.
As it stands the demand for a Sinnoh remake is extremely low if its anniversary is anything to go on.
