>Lusamine keeps a frozen collection of pokemon she loves so that they will never change and remain beautiful always
>Collection includes shit like Slowpoke and Pyukumuku
>Lusamine disowned Gladion and Lillie for not being beautiful enough
Lillie is CANONICALLY less attractive than a Pyukumuku! CANON!
Can you really say Lusamine doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to beauty?
Lilliefags B T F O!!
>>30522255
But Pyukumuku is cute as fuck.
>tfw some faggot asshole made a sport of chucking them back into the ocean
I'd burn down the resort and make it a pyukumuku preserve if I could.
>>30522255
>Can you really say Lusamine doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to beauty?
really didn't think that through huh
>>30522255
Lusamine is also batshit crazy. Ergo, the whole freezing pokemon thing in the first place.
>>30522255
So...are they fucking dead?
>>30522255
>pyukumuku
>not adorbs
>>30522308
>Once a Pyukumuku finds a place it likes, it won’t budge from it. If someone moves it away, back it comes to the same spot. If it runs out of food to eat in that spot, it’ll stay there—and starve. The people of Alola found this so pitiful that they developed a tradition of chucking Pyukumuku back into the food-rich sea whenever they come across any thin-bellied Pyukumuku.
Why do you want to kill all the Pyukumuku?
>>30522255
>>30522378
I thought the guy on the beach that pays you to chuck them said they toss them back because they're unsightly.
>>30522337
If you talk to the Grunt in the Lab who gives you the DNA Splicers, Prison Bottle, and Soul Dew, she'll mention wanting to make amends by watching over the frozen Pokemon until the day they can unfreeze them.
So apparently they're not totally dead, but they can't just defrost them right now.
>>30522255
>Can you really say Lusamine doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to beauty?
I can if she finds the densest and slowest pokémon alive more attractive than Lillie.
I mean, she's your fucking daughter. You actually wonder why we think you're a bitch?
>>30522255
I'm 100% sure that after that slowpoke gets defrosted it won't feel anything no side effects and will do dumb lazy things again
>>30522423
half dead starving animals are kinda unsightly
>>30522423
Why would throwing a SEA CREATURE back into the ocean where it belongs be a bad thing?
And no, he paid you because they dry themselves up in the sun staying on the beach.
>>30523025
>they can't just defrost them right now
Is there a reason for that? Can't be that hard to unfreeze them.
>>30522423
not the alolan ppl but tourists
>>30522378
How the fuck did they survive before human habitation?
>>30523382
Obviously, some end up staying in spaces where they can get enough food to survive.
I literally got bummed out and sad when I saw the little Pyuk frozen. I am glad to hear that they're implied to be somewhat alive.

Try looking for "frozen fish in seconds" in YouTube

Not him, but all I'm getting are guides on how to clean fish.
>>30522255
They had beautiful personalities, meaning they did whatever Lusamine told them to do.

It's similar to how we have frozen humans right now, but we're waiting to be able to defrost them.
In practice, it means you can consider them dead. Even if it some day a way to safely cryogenize living beings was found, it would be reliant on a specific way of freezing, meaning that everyone that was frozen the "wrong" way was just dead, but without the decomposition aspect.
>Lusamine used Sheer Cold
>>30523923
The real problem with cryonics isn't the unfreezing part, actually. It's the how things are frozen. Currently, the problem is that freezing people has a habit of causing the water in them to explode their cells as it solidifies, effectively destroying all their vital functions. It's going to require more than just unfreezing them in the right way for the people currently in cryonic storage to be revived. They're going to need cellular regeneration that simply may not be possible without knowing exactly what their person was like before being frozen, especially when it comes to their brains.
Cooling a person down with freezing temperature can keep them in a sort of "stasis" for a bit if their biological processes are already breaking down, but out right freezing them actually just kills them. Their corpses are just preserved.
>>30522255
>her collection is filled with slowpoke and pyukumuku
Someone get those guys an ice heal.
Why didn't they just make Lusamine a taxidermist?
>>30523611
Sleep tight, Pyukumuku.
>>30523025
>use ice heal
>???
>unfrozen Pokemon

Man, i want some good fanfic with Lillie dragging her brain-damaged, alternatively domineering and apologetic mom across Kanto. Preferably with some ambiguity of how much bitchiness is residual effects of toxin vs. how much is her mom being a legitimately awful person, and how sincere Lusamine is being in trying to be less terrible.
>>30524371
She was apparently a good person in the past, though kids have a somewhat selective memory and people change. It might be interesting to explore the idea that a lot of it was the toxins, but that it actively shaped how her mind works now. And while she is now sober enough to realize who she's become, it's still how her mind reflexives works if she's not making a conscious effort.

Those lifeforms are very simple compared to us they can live after being cut into pieces due to their incredible regeneration so a sea cucumber starving as all is ridiculous.
