Seriously wish more areas were intentionally left to be found. Makes the world seem larger. Not every town is a plot based destination. I remember finding Pacifidlog Town for the first time and thinking it was a polar opposite to Fortree and made me overall appreciate the region more. Admittedly neither have the same charm in 3D but at least they didn't shove it down your throat for cool points. It was independently cool in it's own right

Polar opposite? I'd say they were pretty similar actually. Both great concept designs, yet horrible executions making them both unmemorable and pointless. I posted it in the other thread, might as well ask it here too. How do you fuck up a city of treehouses? And pacifidlog is much the same. It should have been more involved. It literally serves as a pit stop and nothing more. There's literally nothing to do but heal in that city. Wow.
