They'll bring the stones back. They can't just make a bunch of pokemon good for one gen and then take it away the next for no reason.

They also specifically nerfed Parental Bond when mega kangaskhan can't be obtained. They wouldn't do that if they never intended for it to be usable again (then again this is GF we're talking about, they also made Dark Void only usable by Darkrai, but on top of that also made it a shitty move.)

That's blatantly false and you know it. For example, Game Freak patched XY shortly after launch to fix the Lumiose save bug. Game Freak has also patched Pokemon Bank repeatedly, and has already announced plans to do so in January of next year. They haven't done CONTENT patches for any MAIN SERIES GAMES, which I would argue is too narrow of a "pattern" to hold any real value for the future.

personally i always enjoyed how Pokemon collecting was based on real life biology and originated from the creators collecting bugs. Thats why I love the new alolan forms so much because in this series evolution is a key element and having evolutionary variation based on regions makes alot of sense.

But Megas IMO dont fit in with the series lore or world, they seem like they just wanted to add something new and shocking and "mega" if you know what im saying.

Do you not understand how the third version business model works? The first two versions of a generation always have less content than than the final one. There needs to be a reason for someone to buy another game. Thats the main reason they dont do DLC or content patches.
