3DS doesn't have a screen above 240p, even on the larger 3DS. The game has proper 3D models and animations, hence why they look so good on Citra.

Not exactly related but all my mons were about 7 levels underlevelled when I got to Poni Wilds, just grind with wild Pokemon like Raticate or Pelipper.

I turned EXP share off and used pokemon refresh and I was underleveled as hell when I got to the E4. I even battled every trainer I saw.

I never realised 3DS emulator was actually a thing :o
