Careful or Impish seems like the way to go for singles, defensive sets are better there since he gets Defog and Roost. For Doubles he gets Haze and resists Gyarados' stupidly strong Hydro Vortex so I'd go Impish there.

He can run an offensive set, it's just that his offensive sets are shit in competitive compared to his support sets. They're great for in-game though.

Well I mainly play alone but from time to time I usually play with my friends.
When I say "competitive" I mean "play a match with a friend once a week", I hate real competitive with tournaments and all so I guess Adamant is good for me then.
I have both a Jolly and Adamant ditto for this since these are the most requested natures.
