Magmar is or was at least very popular because of how badass it was when it first appeared on the anime 18 years ago. I've never met anyone who was into pokemon back then that dislikes it. Magmortar on the other hand was a failure of an evolution.

Of the gen 4 evos, Yanmega, Porygon-Z, Honchkrow and Weavile are the only good ones. Mismagus, Mamoswine, Gliscor and Tangrowth are okay, I guess, although I still like their NFE forms more. The rest are just trash.

I don't like Luchalitten's colors at all, the red is too flashy and the grey is awful, its face is weird, it looks like a cereal mascot, wrestling is one of mankind's worst inventions, the arms and legs are way too thin, the arms are too long and the legs too short, and sausage fingers
