I'd want a region based off of Brazil or the U.K. Lots of potential for evil teams, Pokémon, environments and nods. Plus music is very lively in both places, but the U.K could have lots of clubs as "gyms".

Focus on North and South Islands. Detail them more, so the place looks larger. Connect both by a landbridge or an actual bridge. And congrats, the feel is completely different from "a bunch of islands".

I think it'd be interesting if they did China. It'd have to be a pretty BIG region with lots of cities. Now before you complain about "huuurrr it'd be too similar to Kanto and Johto".

That's from a Western perspective. Maybe if the game was done by us it'd look similar, but the Japanese will really highlight the differences between China and Japan. Plus it'd be interesting how Japan sees China and it'd be a smart move economically by Nintendo because of the Chinese market.

Aside from that, yeah, it'd be pretty cool for Pokemon to go /full/ cheeki breeki.

Can't pick Brazil or Africa because it'd be too similar to Alola. Can't go to Russia because a Sinnoh remake is due and that's already winter oriented. I think a Chinese region would be interesting. They could even have some Tibetan monks or something! The only catch with the Chinese region would be that they'd have to be very careful what they portray in the game. They'd have to make sure to have a positive spin of the Chinese government or else China will ban the game. Plus there are issues of Chinese-Japanese tensions recently hmmm.

But yeah, USA is done, France is done. We just had a tropical region so all together that eliminates both Americas, Europe and Africa. Sinnoh remake will rule out Slavistan unless it's cheeki breeki.

A Pokemon game on Mars would be FUCKING AMAZING. Considering how they just introduced Ultra beasts, they could greatly expand them going on an alien world. Or at least make a region divided between time on Earth and time on Mars so as to have both Pokemon and Ultra Beasts.
