Which is obviously just the writer misunderstanding the egg cycle or whatever that's called, where it triggers a chance for an egg to appear at the daycare and adds to an existing egg's hatch counter. Totally fair misinterpretation. They probably had someone explain it to them and the other person did a poor job.

Beyond that it's just a couple of poorly phrased sentences and fluff. Nothing offensive, certainly. It's aimed at people who don't play the games, so it's all about the hype and trying to relate that to the readers, but it also provides some (sort of) informative videos so that players who become interested have somewhere to go for more info. Decent article.

If anything, OP is a faggot for giving them page views.

255 Steps is just a single egg cycle. It takes multiple egg cycles to hatch an egg.
