BW1 is criminally underrated compared to BW2

Shame that gen 5 removed a lot of HGSS's features and has the worst touch screen use ever in a DS pokemon game

Both Gen 5 games are equal to me.

Sun and Moon are just below that, with ORAS coat tailing behind them.

I like my stories okay? Team Aqua and Magma are surprisingly well written characters in ORAS and I love that.

BW1 felt so fresh compared to anything before it. Still does.

SM is pretty fresh feeling too, but not quite as much. Probably because of all the other gen Pokemon.

I really like how even though N was so "mysterious" and "three-steps ahead", YOU were the one to prove him wrong.

It felt so rewarding, having the game end with him being confused about his role because you shattered his worldview.

Also Ghetesis is more evil than Lusamine, any place, any time.

I got back into the series in gen 6 since like 3

Gen 5 is the best but it's mind boggling how the fucked the screen compared to gen 4

Same with XY to SM

It's unforunate that BW live in the shadows of BW2.

I truly don't understand how certain core fans of the dislike Gen 5. They'll forever remain one of the best, and even though I think Sun & Moon are better, BW were godlike in their own right

I really liked all the gyms in BW, thematically. They all had a second use apart from being a gym.

I wish I could relive the feeling I had when I played through Black for the first time. SM are really good but they still didn't give me that incredible feeling. BW will always have a special place in my heart.
