You know how usually the E4 is LITERALLY WHO?
Well with SM they aren't literally who and are instead characters you've already met
except for Kahili
so when you go in expecting another character you've already met, you get a literally who
cue collective interest

Hey. She gets mentioned by name in the Demo, so if you actually explored it and have a brain it's not a complete WHO?

Well if its one thing to not like someone over.

I like the idea of the E4 being sort of enigmatic. It would be a lot better if they received development; achievements, why they're in the Elite 4, etc.
I also really like how the E4 was handled this gen, too though. The tight budget and inexperience shows through quite well.
I guess she is from a weeb cartoon?
Why do people like any Pokemon character? Because she's attractive.

Men worship anything remotely female-shaped. Don't think too hard about it.

it's the ambiguity. Everyone else in the elite four is someone familiar and all of a sudden qt golfer girl comes out of nowhere with her resting bitch face and anons found a new waifu. Granted most E4 members are the same but in Alola's case she's the only new face. It's not like it's the first time people have fallen in love with a E4 member
