S.O.S. Chaining

had a chain earlier today of about 600 rock ruffs followed by another 200 or so to finally get the shiny.

Fucking pinsirs, they take forever and a day to fucking summon a butt-buddy, some don't even appear.
I gave up after like 30. It took me an entire day to get to that. I'm lucky I saved before-hand cause I had so much shit wasted to get myself a shiny or a even a HA pinsir. (Cause fuck it why not).

I wasn't shiny chaining but I was chaining Hakamo-os to get a Razor Claw so I could evolve Sneasel

Because apparently that's the ONLY WAY TO GET A RAZOR CLAW IN THIS GAME. A 5% ITEM ON A 5% POKEMON.

And yeah it's 50% on Kommo-os but did a single Kommo-o spawn that entire chain? No. Of course not.

I didn't keep track of how many it took, but I just chained Wishiwashi for 5 hours to get a shiny. Leftovers and hundreds of Leppa Berries did the trick.

How the fuck... My longest chain has been 175 for a rockruff. I've gotten 8 shinies so far from sos chaining, and none have gone past that.

I just started a chain literally five minutes ago and found a perfect shiny Rockruff... So hyped, even though I'm in Sun if I want Moon doggu can I just trade it to Moon and it'll work?
