The vast majority of them look awful compared to the standard coloration and the additional animation when sending them out gets annoying after a while.

There's also the shiny fanbase, which is incredibly obnoxious and I'd rather not be associated with them. I'm far more interested in having a properly raised 'mon or other items than having a shiny which people will just assume is hacked anyway.

why not use starmie? it also gets spotlight and is fast as fuck, meaning you could pick easily pick off chipped down opponents for yourself
