Can I go somewhere and view ALL full arts somehow?
When does the Sun/Moon expansion come out?
>>30450280
If you play ptcgo, you can just go to your collection, filter only full arts and check the "not owned" box.
Or you can search them on pkmncard.com

I mean, pkmncards.com

How rare is Mew in the TCG, should I be happy I just got one?
>>30454976
Got it, thank you anon
>>30455042
Well, there are 27 different Mew cards, and most of those each come in 2+ different rarities and arts.
>tfw none of your friends plays tcg with you
My Garchomp/Staraptor colorless deck is just gathering dust. I also have a fucktton of cards in a shoebox to build decks, but I'm unsure if any of those could be uploaded online because I've never fucking tried it.
>>30456575
Play online, or make new friends at your local game shop.
>I'm unsure if any of those could be uploaded online because I've never fucking tried it.
Packs, tins, and decks have a code card in them.
Put that code in the online client to get that pack. Cards are random, though.
>>30455042
get us a picture of it
In general i got a smol stack of pokemon Torney cards from 09 i can get pictures of
i dunno what the sigature on them says in terms of a name
>>30456847
>i dunno what the sigature on them says in terms of a name
If the cards are signed, have a silver border, and a card back that says they're World Championship cards, then they're worthless. See pic related.
Every year, they release a special $10 deck for each of the three World's winners, then a fourth popular deck of the format. These cards aren't tournament-legal, making them no better than high-quality proxies you can print out.

>Packs, tins, and decks have a code card in them.
I know the newer cards do, but again tho; are the older cards possible to upload/redeem?
I know the boosters, tins, and decks have those codes but I was hoping that there was a way to get those older cards uploaded or not.
>>30457062
Fuck I forgot to edit that other sentence out.
>>30457062
Packs only started getting code cards in them with the first HGSS expansion.
The official online client only has cards from HGSS-on. There are no older cards.
Codes don't have an expiration date.
If you want to play older formats or play Unlimited format with older cards, you either need to use a third-party program like TCGone or Redshark, play the GBC games, or do it in real life with friends.
>>30456999
Oh, what a shame,
Just asking, but in torneys can you evolve a pokemon with a card from a different set or do you have to have the card from the same set to Evolve the pokemon?
>>30457207
You can evolve to and from any version of the card, as long as the name matches exactly. The name is the only thing that matters.
The Ninetales card on the left can ONLY evolve from any card named exactly "Vulpix". You can NOT place it on a card named "Brock's Vulpix". Similarly, Brock's Ninetales can ONLY evolve from "Brock's Vulpix".
>>30457368
Why the fuck does Brock have a Ninetales
>tfw it took me like 90 boosters to even get one
Now one more to go and I will be finally free from this ordeal.
>>30457154
Fuckin' hell.
I stopped playing right around HG/SS so I'm way behind with all the new shit after picking it back up. That's depressing, but are any of the newer cards gud? Haven't bought anything in years tcg related.
>>30457368
oh, neat, thanks dood
care to see any of the torney cards i have or no.
>>30457394
dunno, he had a vulpix in one of the seasons tho i think.
>>30457394
During the end of Gen 1, two of the sets they released were filled with Trainer's and Rocket's Pokemon. I guess they gave each gym leader a few extra Pokemon to pad out the set, and they didn't want to leave any evolution lines unfinished.
>>30457394
He was given a Vulpix from a Pokemon breeder in the anime.
>>30456999
Except for the Tropical Beaches in those decks, which still goes for around 5-10 bucks.
>>30456847
Turned my PC off earlier so I'm on phone, it's the one with Memories of Dawn and Encounter, this is in TCGO btw
>>30457415
>are any of the newer cards gud?
What do you mean by good?
Artistically, they started printing out alternate and full arts for major cards near the start of Gen V. You get some really pretty cards if you're just collecting.
Mechanically? HGSS and the better half of Gen V was arguably the worst point in the TCG's history, but it's recovered pretty well since then, and the current format is pretty solid. Sun and Moon are going to introduce some new mechanics and retire some old ones come January, so now would actually be a pretty okay time to start.
>>30457635
Not really, will still be legal in Standard for 2-3 more years and Expanded still has to deal with Night March shenanigans.
>>30457679
>will still be legal in Standard for 2-3 more years
Whoops, I forgot to mention EXs.
>>30457679
>>30457744
What's wrong with EXs?
And Expanded is a secondary format that's much less moderated from a design perspective. Major tournaments (including Worlds) are Standard for a reason.

>>30457477
>>30457635
sorry, there from '08
They're all from the same pack, they have the same john name on them
How much are older cards worth now? Will I make bank if I dig out my '98/'99 era cards?
>>30457911
Not unless they're holo and in mint/near-mint condition.

Think there's a couple of shinies in there, though they might be the cards you got for seeing the movie in the cinema, I'll find them tomorrow and post if the threads still up and anything looks interesting
