If they keep the character in the anime at least loosely based off the characters in the game I don't see why they can't have Guzma be the loony Team Skull boss that doesn't even take him or his team seriously. Serena's second look kinda sucked. I liked the hairstyle but her clothing looked super generic compared to her first costume.
