Currently MM'ing a shiny Miltank in X. I needed a break from doing soft resets.

Just got 2 shiny vulpix within 3 boxes.

Probably gonna give one of them away with some of the others once I'm done.

What nature would you guys prefer for ninetails: timid, modest, or calm?

I know it's easier than ever to find shinies and force them to come out, but it's still a thrill to bump into one without trying.

Currently four boxes into breeding for a shiny popplio. Got this adorable little fuck the other night though.

got a shiny a-grimer yesterday with 4IVs and HA, so thought I'd try for chargabug today. On the plus side, they call an ally every turn so the chain is fast, but I didn't get shit from hundreds of them. Will try again sometime but damn it was a pain.

Was breeding Mimikyus for a Jolly one and ended up with a shiny 4IV Brave one. Later on in the day was rebreeding Jangmo-os to fix my nature and ended up with an Adamant 5IV Jangmo-o with a low Sp. Atk IV, so my favorite.

was tickled when I got this cutie last night. Wasn't aiming for shiny at all. Is jolly with iron head and outrage.

Makes for the 3rd shiny I've gotten in 20 years. First being a butterfly in gen 2 and 2nd being a modest zubat in gen 4.

That said it didn't get the HA (80% chance my ass) and its special def is jank. I'm honestly temped to learn injection to fix the ability, though that would make the thing significantly less "special".

I bred a shiny Eevee with a 31IV JP Ditto. IVs turned out OK, it's Modest w/ HA and now a Sylveon.

Also bred a shiny Mimikyu with that same Ditto. Meh IVs and Nature but still a shiny Mimikyu.

So far in the past week I've bred a shiny Vulpix, Minior, Ghastly, and just last night Beldum (after 700 goddamn eggs).

I'm contemplating hunting some shiny Eevees to give away to some friends. I'm not sure I care enough about natures to have to breed them, so my question is what's quicker, Masuda + shiny charm or SOS chaining + shiny charm?

I accidentally bred a Shiny cubone today when breeding for an HA Moon ball one

only 4ivs, not in attack and speed, but I'm still hella happy. It even has Battle armor so I can get Rock head

IV Spread isn't so hot but the nature is passable. Just glad it has Queenly Majesty and that bottle caps are a thing in this one.

I was breeding Comfey to trade over the GTS (I'd just finished breeding a bunch of Oranguru for the same reason) and I shit you not, the very first Comfey egg was not only shiny but male. At first I thought that it was a gender-variance that males were blue and females were green because I couldn't believe it happened that fast.

Neutral nature, presumably trash IVs and no moves but really cute.

I got this lil fella last night after 231 into the chain.

I was Immediately rewarded with a Shiny Bounsweet at 43 not even an hour later though.

Currently around 300+ for a Shiny Cutiefly

I've got a shiny HA jpn ditto for trade.

I'm kinda new to the whole shiny thing. Anyone interested? Sorry if this is the wrong place. Didn't see a shiny thread.

A Japanese Ditto's a good start, but I'm pretty sure most people here use hacked ones with 6 IVs. Whether the Ditto has its hidden-ability or not is mostly irrelevant because all of its offspring will be the other Pokemon you're breeding it with, and either will or won't have their HA depending on that parent.

Breeding Pokemon from foreign languages seems to double the shiny odds, so the chance is still low but a lot higher than before.
