What's a good nature/moveset if I want to use this guy as a tank?

People think he's shit because they immediately try and run him like ScarfHeracross which is the exact wrong way to use him.

Don't really run tank.

I feel the best is 3 attacks and roost with HP & Attack invest and leftovers.

That way, you aren't trying to be something like a heracross and you can actually do stuff without having to set up. People have been experimenting with the right ratio of attack, HP & Speed EVs to optimise what you are able to outspeed and take non-lethal hits by & one favoured atm is 156 HP, 252 Att & 100 spe. Can't remember the key calcs for that off the top of my head.

If you insist tank, I guess you could run bulk up and leech life, but your moveset will be a bit tight. With 3 moves and roost, you don't necessarily need leech life, so you can get a similar tankiness by going lunge which means you don't have to setup with bulk up & is more proactive.
