Honestly, I always though that the only one that didn't fit Electabuzz's line is Electabuzz itself.
The design is from the era when they did spritework first and then let the artists interpret what the fuck were they seeing.
Electivire is visually fantastic, and Magmortar tries to make sense of what the fuck is Magmar supossed to be. Rhyperior is a great asset, but I can believe why Rhydon fans don't like it.

Calling it Omnitype is fine, but it would probably be simpler to have Arceus become typeless itself and keeping what you said about Judgment auto-correcting to what the target is weak to. If Arceus was actually every type, then its own weakness calculations would get too complicated and it would have STAB on every move. Having a move always hit super-effectively and not having weaknesses on top of the stat boost would probably be broken, but you don't get STAB on anything else, so that would be... something, at least.

Megas and now Alolan forms have a lot of weird gaps in otherwise grouped up mons though. Like Mega Gallade made a counterpart for Gardevoir, but then Glalie gets a Mega and Froslass nothing. Machamp is kind of the odd one out for early trade evos now too.

Well if we somehow do get a sinnoh remake, and sinnoh forms are a thing, what would be a good alt for Arcanine and arbok? Ice/ghost for Arcanine emphasising the guardian spirit and playing off of fairytales' stuff? Steel/Poison for Arbok would be interesting.
I'd hope they'd get Machamp a fighting/steel form that's based that steel cave where all the steelixs are.

Mega starters and Mega Flygon seem to be most likely, especially the latter with how much time they've had to think up of a design.
