Around 67. I caught him in a premier ball. I like the white contrast.

I started the encounter with just 10 ultra balls. So I started going through my extra shit. Ended up capturing him with a great ball.

Probably used 15-20 total balls.

Zapdos in Leaf Green will forever be my most hated catch. It was a constantly cycle of putting him to sleep at 1 hp and then using Ultra Balls. Went through 99 Ultra Balls, and about 20-30 Great Balls before I just reset it to try again. Eventually managed to catch the fucker back in the day. I basically went through so many items and moves trying to catch the fucker that it was just utterly ridiculous.

I False Swiped it down to one HP and repeatedly Hypnosis'd it. Then I threw 25 Ultra Balls at it. When I ran out of Ultra Balls, I threw all the random balls I'd accumulated over the course of the game at it. Nothing worked. Finally, it Struggled and killed itself. I restarted.

Tapu fini was the hardest thanks to aqua ring, and even then I still got it on my first encounter by doing the same thing. Just takes patience

Didn't take me many Dusk Balls to catch him. The only legend that was insane to catch was Koko. I swear his catch rate is lowered to absurd levels during the ending, because he damn near emptied my supply.
