That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's best to inflict regular poison on sweepers and anything that isn't a wall/tank really.

It stops one of the major things that'd really hurt Toxapex: A setup Pokemon switching in on it, resisting/negating its attacking/status moves, and setting up on it. With Haze, you are capable of removing that big weakness and can either slowly whittle your opponent, check them, or switch out to something else that'll threaten the setup 'mon.
