What does it taste like?

I have a friend who works in a produce department that gets all kinds of obscure fruits. She said that it had a sweet mild flavor, like a halo orange. It has a similar texture at least, mangosteens do the fruit juice packet thing that oranges and grapefruit do.

Since the revelation of this Pokémon line I've been curious to try the fruit since apparently it's really healthy and tasty

Forgot to mention, with the tools they had their department it still took an hour to get the thing open. It's outer shell is incredibly tough. Tsareena's "boots" can and will fuck you up without cracking.

it isn't fresh like kiwi, or pineaple, or orange, is kinda heavy/milky like mango. it's also very sweet, inside this white thing there's a seed, you don't eat the seed. It's very rare where i live, they just eat these in the south of my state.
