I'm lvl 31 and I was checking my vaporeons and found a lvl 33 vaporeon among them. The thing is that I can't power up any other vaporeon above lvl 32.5. How this happened? did I got a lvl 33 Eevee and it turned into this lvl 33 Vaporeon or is it the fruit of some strange bug?

When prestiging I just use Pokemon that are 1500 or under, unless the gym I'm battling is particularly shit and has sub 1500 mons in it
Earlier I saw a gym with a 1300 Kingler and 1400 Jynx, so I just used Pokemon at around 1200
But there was another gym with the lowest Pokemon being a 2000 Golem, so I use my 1500 squad (and yeah there was a 2900 Dragonite in it, but the Dewgong was good against Exeggutor too)

I hit 20 in my first week, and given that a lot of people keep coming here mentioning that they just started and are already lv 19-22 in a week seems to support my case.

We can redo the math for Nice throws and reduce the number of required Pidgeys by 23 and it'll still be almost 100k for that evo spree.

228 - 23 = 205 Pidgeys
205 Pidgeys * 110 xp + 70 evos * 1000 xp = 92,550 xp

The new player is going to burn a lot of their free resources doing stupid shit, but it'd be stupid shit like luring up one or two stops, popping incense, using lucky eggs while collecting pokedex entries, etc. All things that'd help them in the first few days of playing.

Well I didn't know the SF tracker had despawn notifications.

Don't know if it's for when the Pokemon actually despawns or when it's hidden because it's about to despawn though.

Hopefully selecting the Pokemon keeps it in the tracker box and not get shoved off by shitmons.

I spoke too soon.

I tested it on a nearby Caterpie.

The despawn notification comes when the Pokemon is hidden from the tracker box, not when it actually despawns because it was still there on my map and catchable for a little over a minute after the despawn notification popped up.

Goddamn, Niantic can't do anything right.

Despawn notification = 90 seconds left on spawn timer.

Currently hatching a 5km right now.

This assumes I ever get a ninth. I hatched like 20+ 2kms and 5kms in my attempt to farm a 10km egg. Never came. I'm at 317 eggs hatched with only seeing about twenty 10kms ever including the 8 in the screenshot, so my drop rate is like one 10km every 16 eggs.

It's cheating, it's wrong and you will be banned for it. Niantic knows 99% of all spoofers already, they just don't have the manpower to go through all the details to avoid false positives so they're being careful with banwaves but you're 120% fucked if you have botted or spoofed. My assumption is that they'll do another banwave on December or January before implementing all the anti-spoofing tools they got on Ingress. They need what little income spoofcucks provide for now but rest assured they will be 99% wiped out except for the smartest ones as soon as they've filled their quota and release the Christmas event/gen II/shinies/alolan pokemon/trading or whatever they have in stock to revitalize the game.

Water Gun / Hydro Pump, or Dragon Breath / Blizzard.

Anyway, Kingdra CP range at lv 40 will be: (2066 CP / 118 HP) to (2424 CP / 130 HP). It'll be a better attacker than a Seadra but maybe you shouldn't hold your breath on whether it'll be a good gym filler.

Scanners don't know all the spawn points in the world and Niantic is changing them from time to time.

They would need less bots, give results faster and have to spend less money to solve captchas. Niantic is making their best to make things hard for scanners. For you it might look simple to just click and scan but you are neglecting all the cost and hard work behind all that.

I dont train up gyms anymore.

I just find gyms where local tryhards like to stick their mons. I take down the gym's level all the way to 1 with 1k prestige and leave it like that so they have to work extra hard to level it back up instead of getting 3 free spots. Last week i found a chansey on my way home, so with this new great feature i cant find these rare spawns because the scanner will only show me the 5 weedle, pidgey and zubat at the 2 pokestops 500m away ? Is that really how it works ?

If you want the max annoyance you would have to use a 10 cp mon like a weedle. so unless they also have enough 10cp mons to beat it they would have to go 50 prestige per battle. (realistically speaking they would just log an alt account and take it out.

There were Dratini nests in the first week. People were talking about them here on scanners and posting lat/long. There was a random subdivision around Sacramento CA and no doubt other places where there were multiple Dratini within a 50m radius. You could get a Dragonite's worth every hour or so.

If I knew then what I know now (Nests migrate, the IV/Pokedex bug that gave high-Pokedex-number mons a guaranteed 15 ATT IV, and most importantly the fact that Dratini nests would go away forever), I'd have driven 2 hours to get to one.
