Amazon 3rd party is not an accurate measure of market value for out of print games. They're so marked up that anybody with half a brain should realize they're a complete joke. Look at completed eBay listings to see how much the game typically sells for.

You could play that copy of SoulSilver on any DS. It is functional and usable.
