Why the fuck are so many of the new Pokemon so fucking rare?

I don't mind 5% encounter rates, but Bruxish and Mareanie could have been done better. Magikarp should not be allowed to appear at all in bubbling fishing spots.

probably the same guy who put that same pokemon in the demo giving the illusion that you could get it early for once

It's the only new pseudo, but not the only one. I guess they thought having Bagon/Salamence available in the third route with 1% encounter rate was good enough.
