Could have been the OU Arceus but is instead doomed to being just okay.
at least 105 in everything would have made him good with recover
a shame because it was one of the few Pokemon I was excited to use story wise and competitive
>>30373084
The fact that we get him only post-game made this thing even worse
>>30373084
>Had whole story about being a "Beast Killer"
>Made to be this mysterious Pokemon with a link to God
>Could evolve and break out of its restraint after it trusts its trainer
>Ends up never fighting a UB
>Has no relevance to the story
>Nothing is explored with it
>Its evolution just happens behind the scenes and just shows up in Gladion's party unceremoniously.
>>30373155
>105 in everything
that is entirely too strong
>>30373197
it isn't even really an evolution, this is it's true form without the inhibitor mask on
>>30373230
>too strong
It may be too strong, but it'll also be op
>every game going forward is going to waste 17 bag slots on Silvally's shitty memories
>>30373230
>Not wanting an OP chimera
>>30373311
>waste
There is no bag limit, what's being wasted?
>>30373336
The time scrolling through all that useless shit.
>>30373155
it could have worked with its current stats and the right movepool
if it was given recover and calm mind, it would be a threat
>>30373336
My fucking time every time I have to scroll past them
>>30373084
I'll hold out hope for Move Tutors in the next game giving it a new lease on life. As of right now, yeah, it just seems alright. I don't know if it'll be OU but maybe it'll belong in the UU scene. I like the concept behind this thing a lot because it's basically an attempt to recreate God. Just without God's versatility unfortunately.
>man, Komala's ability sounds cool, can't wait to see what it'll evolve into
>>30373155
It should have been 600 BST, with 100 in each stat. Recover would've also been helpful, yes.
>>30373283
I think that was the counterargument. Too OP would have been annoying.
600 BST would have been nice, though
>>30373425
>I bet Drampa has a cute little fluff dragon prevo
>I hope you can get it early
>>30373311
Should have worked with the Arceus Plates. Since it's all but officially confirmed that it was at least inspired by Arceus's multitype ability, it could have at least had it specifically.
>>30373531
>everything about Vikavolt
>>30373311
Every game since Gen V had four wasted slots on the Genesect Drives. At least we know where to find these items, we'll just have to go to another lab or scientist or whatever.
I don't like the Memory Disks. They don't even boost type attack bonuses like the Arceus Plates.
Silvally just comes with a big stack of CDs.
>>30373536
Should have been a single key item, if anything. Freeing up both its item and ability while keeping the every type gimmick would have been much better than what it is now.
At the very least they could have given it the same buff they gave Arceus and let it hold Z-crystals instead.
>wow this crabrawler guy sure looks promising, can't wait for it to evolve
>>30373536
Yeah, and it'd get the 20% boost to the type from plates too, which would have been nice.
>>30373646
I hadn't even considered that bonus I was totally missing out on.
>>30373311
>48 mega stones
>circa 20 Poké Balls
>17 memories
>17 plates
>17 redundant items that boost damage of a given type
>17 held items for evolution
>9 incenses
>4 nectars
>4 drives
>2 powders exclusive to Ditto
>and a partridge in a pear tree
Someone needs to fire the retard at Game Freak that insists the current item system is fine. Mega Stones and Poké Balls need individual pockets, incenses should be removed entirely, Memories and Drives should be given key items that simply apply them directly, and either Plates should receive the same treatment or items like Miracle Seed should be removed entirely.
Only then will my autism be satisfied. The generation that does this will automatically be my favorite, just as I'm still assmad at Gen V for removing the Poké Ball and Battle Item pockets. The return of Free Space was a good start but it's not nearly enough.
Poor poor vikavolt lovers.
...well actually I take that back. Crabrawler fans got hit the hardest.
>salandit is such a smug little shit, I hope it's another punkish pokemon like toxicroak or scraftyI ended up using salazzle anyway because the trial won me over but fuck it was not what I wanted
>>30373818
At least they can do well in trick room.
>>30373789
could have just done the zygarde key item thing and given you a memory pouch key item. they should do that for every pokemon that uses an unreasonable amount of items
>>30373818
The saddest thing about crabominable is that there's so many obvious ways to fix its shittiness(STAB priority moves, hammer arm, fur coat, a BST over 500 for fuck's sake) but because GF is GF it's never going to get anything until 15 years from now when they give it +10 special defense or something
>>30373084
What nature do I get for a mixed Silvally? I really can't see what would work
Also, does Eviolite work on Type: Null because that'd be pretty interesting
>>30374074
I don't see why it wouldn't work. It might be a nice bulky slow pivot with U turn.
>>30373197
>yfw we won't get a Silvally vs. Arceus fight as a callback to Mewtwo vs. Mew because GF is dumb and the gen 1 references have to be as unsubtle as possible now
>>30374074
Why not go for a neutral nature?
>>30374252
I've been told that generally a no-go nature since it does nothing but I guess since Silvally is a special case in having equal stats across the board, it's exempt if I want a mixed one
>>30374252
It's probably better to sack a defensive stat in favor of speed Which one depends on which if any memory you'll use.
>tfw Gamefreak hasn't introduced mega evolutions into this generation
>tfw Aether foundation potentially had experiments to mega-evolve it
I can hope. At least he's not useless.
>>30374276
Actually for mixed purposes you want a Speed boosting nature, hindering the defense you plan to use less (Sp Def 99% of the time)
>>30374280
I went for Jolly nature and planned to make him a pivot.
>>30374283
What are you talking about, Dexio uses a Mega Alakazam
>>30374305
NEW megas
>>30374304
Timid probably would have been better for clowning on people.
>dragon memory
>switch in
>draco meteor a nigga
>parting shot outta there
>>30374329
I thought of abusing multi-attack or self-destruct possibly.
>>30374384
I guess exploding is pretty good too.
>>30373311
They really should add more pockets to the bag
>Pokéballs
>Medicine Items
>Berries
>MegaStones
>Z-Crystal
>Key items
>TMs
>Miscellanious
And a Free Space, so I can dump there all the Arceus Plates, Silvally's Memories, Genesect's drives and other bullshit. Or better yet condense them into a key item like the Zygarde Cube.
And remove the Incenses
>>30374520
anon sun and moon already brought the free back...thank God.
>>30373623
>>30374329
that's a great way to waste an item instead of just using a death orb to boost whatever else it runs
>>30374384
>>30374414
>decided to see what z normal would do to explosion
>It's just breakneck blitz
>and it's weaker than explosion
I was pretty disappointed there was no z-explosion
All it needed was 105 Speed. He is in the same catefory as Articuno, Entei, Azelf, Terrakion, etc, yet they only gave it and the Tapus 570 BST total instead of 580 like every other legendary in that category. It wouldn't have been over the top like Arceus because of the movepool, but it would've been decent and probably a solid pick in OU.
>>30373084
Why are people sleeping so hard on Z-Parting shot?
Full heal of a switch in is stupidly strong.
