How would you deal with the issue of too much unskippability

It genuinely didn't bother me.

By complaining about it on an anonymous imageboard in the ridiculos hopes that Game Freak will hear me and decide to remove active narratives from the next games.

Put less of them in. Place higher priority on removing the pointless ones that don't tell you anything new, or condense multiple cutscenes that are close together into one larger cutscene (but still likely trim the fat there)

This and make it so pressing B when people talk actually just skips to the next text box or whatever instead of having to wait for the arrow to appear.

I didn't mind the cut-scenes but it needs an skip button for people that want to play both versions.

I didn't have any issue with them.

Hell BoF1 is pretty much an example of the opposite problem.

Have cutscenes be skippable once the game is beaten. Have some sort of permanent marker so subsequent playthroughs will have the option.
