I evolve any eevee with a cp over 600, they're so common and a 44% 2100 vaporeon is just as good as a 100% 2100 vap. I'm never going to run out of eevee candies unless the change their spawn rate, and even then I have so much stroked up it doesn't matter

I managed to find some gyms that neither players nor spoofers have found out yet. My main issue is with spoofers roaming the city and taking down gyms and leaving them empty.

I went back to a gym that I left my pokemon for days and it was blank, when I was almost there two valor accounts took it at the same time but nobody was there to be seen. Them another gym nearby started being attacked, I went there and nobody was there to be seen so I guess they are spoofing, taking down gyms in places without many players and if nobody takes it they assume nobody is nearby so they can place their mons without fear of being reported.

Day 143

I powered up my perfect Rhydon as far as I could. He's only really good for leaving at the top of gyms since he got Megahorn, but gym defender's movesets don't matter and only their CP does so I don't regret powering it up. My Pokedex still sits at 142/143.

I still do not have a Chansey.

Evolved a 12/15/12 Horsea and got a Dragon Breath/Blizzard Seadra, a low level Prestige machine for the Instinct gyms that load up on Dragonite...that is hoping they make the gym system better.

I went from level 23 to 29 which was my goal so I could get level 30 pokes in the wild. Now I'm just casually looking for high level mons with decent stats to boost 1 or 2 times to take down gyms.

The foil is basically there to be a shitty Faraday cage, shitty being the keyword.

A Faraday cage blocks out EM signals complete. A shitty one lets signals in every once in a while so the GPS and Wifi signals get spotty with a high variance which leads a lot of error accumulation in calculating the position, which leads to drift.

So instead of foil you could just find some weird part of the house where you get less bars, shove it under a mattress, etc. and it should all cause drift.

They were part of my attacker lineup and I figured they'd get kicked out within a day but that day, those gyms decided to become lv 10 stable Instinct gyms and I've never seen them since.

That other vape is a wild one I caught a couple weeks ago, it's my only vape left. I have some good Eevees but I'm hoarding them for an evo spree so that I can get a shot at a couple VAPOREONS with good movesets. Basically other than the AT one, all my Eeveelutions were 100% Flareons. Wade and the other one were wild catches.

It's a good thing though, really. If I evolved all my good Eevees, all my other Pokemon would never get dusted like that Seadra or the Starmie because I'm too busy dusting a fuckton of Eeveelutions and gym space fillers and not really building up my attacker lineup. It's almost 150k Star Dust per Pokemon to hit lv 31 and that takes me like, a week. I have 15 good Eevees right now (waiting until 18) and that'd be a good 3-4 months of grinding just for them and nothing else.

Unless they are teleporting around at 300mph, it's kind of hard to pinpoint which ones are spoofing, and even then, people zigzag all the time because of signal issues and banning people on false positives will start a never-ending avalanche of hate. They'd rather err on the cautious side so we can only sit back and take it.

There were a couple flags, yes, but most of the working bots at the time just randomised the data or pretended they were iPhones so that they could just report zero since iOS devices didn't report that data or something.

That shit was also months ago, because Niantic has to 100% rely on the phones reporting their GPS location, ultimately it's futile to try and fight FlyGPS users who do shit like set their walk speed to 5km/h and walk along streets pretending they're legit, etc.

There are several decades of history where MMO devs have failed to win the fight against botters. Niantic is repeating basically every mistake in the book trying to stop botters and cheaters for good, including the one where they make a good game so that botting is mostly unappealing or not worth the effort to legit players (e.g. fixing the fucking tracker, designing better combat systems, etc.).

That's 840 Pidgey candies.

70 evo Pidgeys + x Pidgeys = 840 candies
70 * 3 + x * 4 = 840
4x = 630
x = 157.5
So you need 157.5 + 70 = 228 Pidgeys for your first evo spree.

228 Pidgeys * 150 xp + 70 * 1000 = 104,200 xp which is more than goddamn half.

And that's assuming you only catch Pidgeys.

I have plenty of potions, but low on revives
so I just revive my mons when they drop out of gyms by powering them up (+1hp) then potion to max

Good, it would be great to have spoofers nulify each other by staying in a constant battle for a single gym. Everybody wins! The players have two spoofers less to worry about and both spoofers can have the satisfaction of ruining the day of some stranger who, in their minds, is fighting them in snow without knowing the pitiful truth.

No you can't. Even if there are less than 9 pokemons nearby a pokemon can disappear from the list when you are going in the right direction and appear again when you are going in the opposite direction from it. Comparing what shows in the sightings and the real positions I got with scanner show that the in game sightings is a pile of putrid shit!
