Soundproof or Bulletproof?
On Cart Bulletproof, after Pokebank Soundproof if Gardevior and Sylveon are extremely common.
bulletproof has more coverage to actual threats.
Bulletproof. Until Pokebank at least.
>catch Jangmo-o with Soundproof
>doesn't matter, for in game run anyway
>reach Totem Kommo-o
>my Jangmo-o has already evolved to a Kommo-o itself
>lead with it for maximum underdog memes, but expect to switch in Minor after my Kommo-o gets KO'd
>mfw I realized the only attack the Totem could threaten me with was a sound based move
>start setting up Iron Defenses
>win

Bulletproof for avoiding Aegislash Shadow Ball/Gyro Ball.

Bulletproof definetly. Mence prefers to use more Double Edge/Return then HV and since the nerf, Pixilate doesn't hit as hard anymore, not that it matters since you were dead to a Moonblast anyway. Plus, being immune to Aegislash and Specs Lele (on Shadow Ball switch) is a big thing to have.
Soundproof for doubles because fuck Hyper Voice. Bulletproof for singles because fuck Sludge Bomb and Shadow Ball.

The real question here is bulletproof or overcoat. On cart, I'm thinking bulletproof, because HAs are so tough to get in SM. I do kind of want to use one on a hail team, though...
Bullet proof easily
>Sylveon used Hyper Voice!

bulletproof
soundproof is only good for dealing with opposing kommo-o, and only if theyre specs or something, gardevoir and sylveon will both kill you with psyshock regardless and neither mence nor altaria run special sets frequently enough in singles for you to care
and you always run overcoat in doubles, but its shit there anyway

Bulletproof if UU or below
Soundproof otherwise against OU fairies
Overcoat, team with Snow Warning Ninetails.
Soundproof is better for PvE with all the growl/supersonic mons and the occasional disarming voice.
For PvP it really depends on how common M-Gardevoir and Altaria end up being.
