In all seriousness I beat the early fights with Lele/Mega-Zam/Bewear. No egg moves or good IVs, just good natures. You could probably ruin the early fights with just a +spatk Pheremosa

I got to endgame and used my best three in game mons (mega Ala and a chained 3 IV Salamence being the key ones; not EV trained) and ground my way to the 48 BP to buy it in Battle Tree, almost making the 20 in a row before getting haxed out. I hear its actually not that bad to get it from Pickup, but I chose to spend a few hours getting BP to guarantee it.

If you use the Recycle/Leppa swap trick for Ditto chaining, that goes fast as well. Got a Shiny 4 IV Ditto, and a Jolly 4 IV one from my first two chains, so I'm happily on to breeding stuff finally.
