Protean is just better, even when the Ash mode is faster and hit a bit harder with stabs, you still need to get a kill first and cannot have tutor/egg moves, making it more easy to wall and harder to use
Is a good mon, but 75-85% of the time your better using Protean for the consistency

Protean Greninja will get banned again soon.

Also it hit far more than "a bit harder" with his STAB, it's non-STAB are a bit weaker than Protean (around 6-7%). Also next games it will probably have move-tutors again

It's nice to have in Battle Tree at least while I still do not have the resources to pump out EV-trained 5IV Pokemon.

Is Ash Greninja EV locked? I swapped his EV's with powersave and it became untradable. I reseted them back to default and it got fizex... soo is he stuck with: 252 speed and 128 on each attack stat?

Gunk shot fucked the fairies hard and allowed it to run extrasensory and dark pulse without fear.

Low kick destroys empoleon.

On a general basis gunk shoot is better than low kick vs Chansey due to the weight base power of low kick against that target.
